Özet: Throughout the history women's not having been able to have their basic humanly rights has been a serious problem. These problems have been issued by many important authors from different perspectives; however, no profound solution has been found yet. In this work, the event of marriage, the rivalry over the superiority between men and women that has been a dogma, the struggle of women to have the equality with men and even the integration of religion into the subject will be issued. All these problems will be issued focusing on three main works: A street Car Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, A Doll's House and Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen, along with using some of the remarkable works of William Shakespeare to support the ideas, such as; The Tempest, Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. In these works, the isolation of women, the women inferiority and the subject of marriage will be discussed. The paper will focus and cover the lives of three main characters; Blanche, Hedda and Nora, who either accept the superiority of men unconditionally or forcefully.
