dc.description.abstract	Bu çalışmanın temel amacı ortaöğretim kurumuna devam eden öğrencilerinin internet kullanım eğilimleri ile akademik başarılarının arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmanın amacı doğrultusunda anket uygulaması yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın evrenini, 2013-2014 Eğitim Öğretim yılı içinde; İstanbul İstanbul Anadolu yakasında bulunan devlet ve özel liselerine (Anadolu, İmam Hatip, Anadolu İmam Hatip, Meslek, Sağlık Meslek, vb.) devam eden tesadüfü yöntemle seçilecek 283 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada uygulamalar başlamadan önce katılımcı öğrencilere çalışma ve uygulanacak ölçekler hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilecek veriler SPSS-16 Bilgisayar-İstatistik paket programında analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre akademik başarı ile sosyal ağ ve internet oyunları arasındaki ilişkide, akademik başarıyı yansıtan öğrencilerin karne notları ile sosyal ağ ve internet oyunları arasında anlamlı ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Öğrencilerin internet kullanım eğilimleri artış gösterdikçe akademik başarıları düşüş göstermektedir.	tr_TR

dc.description.abstractol	The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the students’ progress to secondary internet usage trends and the relationship between academic achievements and the use of games in the internet. The study was conducted in accordance with the survey application. The population of the study consists of private and state high schools, Anadolu, Anadolu İmam Hatip, İmam Hatip occupational schools, health occupational school located on the Asian side of İstanbul. In this study 283 students were selected randomly from these schools in the academic year of 2013-2014.. Before application of the study the participants were informed about the scale and the short questionnaire The obtained data was analysed by SPSS-statistical package program. According to research results, the significant relationship between internet use of games was identified. It was also found out that the more students used internet for games the less their academic achievement was.	tr_TR
