Abstract:
ORTAOKULLARDA ÇALIŞAN ÖĞRETMENLERĠN SINIF YÖNETİM BECERİ DÜZEYLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ
ÖZET
Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokullarda çalışan öğretmenlerinin sınıf yönetim beceri düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla bu araştırmanın verileri; 2015–2016 eğitim öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Eyüp ve Gaziosmanpaşa İlçelerinde bulunan ortaokullarda çalışan öğretmenlerden basit tesadüfi örneklem yoluyla her okuldan 1-10 arası öğretmen belirlenerek toplam 300 öğretmene uygulanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Sınıf Yönetim Beceri Ölçeği (Çulha, 2014) uygulanarak elde edilmiştir.
Elde edilen veriler bilgisayarda SPSS 20.0 paket programında tamamlayıcı istatistik, Varyans Analizi (Anova) ve t testi teknikleriyle analiz edilmiş anlamlılık p<,05 düzeyinde değerlendirilmiştir.
Yapılan istatistik analizler sonucunda; öğretmenlerin toplam ölçek ile gelişme ve genel etkinlikler alt boyutunda yüksek düzeyde sınıf yönetim becerisine, giriş, sonuç alt boyutlarında ise ortalama üstü sınıf yönetimi becerisine sahip oldukları, cinsiyet değişkenine göre grupların toplam ölçek ile giriş, gelişme ve sonuç etkinlikleri alt boyutlarında anlamlı farklılık ve kıdem değişkenine göre grupların giriş ve sonuç etkinliklerinde anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Diğer parametreler ve değişkenler arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır. A RESEARCH ON SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ LEVEL OF CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT SKILLS
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to examine secondary school teachers‟ level of classroom management skills. For this purpose, the data in this research has been acquired by implementation of Personal Information Form and Classroom Management Skill Questionnaire with 300 teachers chosen from schools in Eyüp and Gaziosmanpaşa İstanbul during 2015-2016 academic year, using simple random sampling method (1-10 from each school). The data has been analyzed using descriptive statistics, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t test techniques in SPSS 20.0 package, and significance level has been identified as p<,05.
As a result of statistical analysis, it has been observed that teachers have a high level of classroom management skill on the total scale and with subdimensions of development and general activities; and that their skills are above average when it comes to subdimensions of introduction and conclusion. According to gender variable, statistically significant difference has been identified within groups, in terms of total scale and with subdimensions of introduction, development and conclusion activities. Seniority variable taken into account, statistically significant difference has been identified within groups, in terms of introduction and conclusion activities. No significant difference has been identified among other parameters and variables.
