Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to investigate electronic commerce and its role
in economic transformation from the point of view of business management. In this
research, library sources were used to identify and study the research background,
theoretical basis and definitions;
Then, using information and interviews with experts, economic development
indicators were determined and finally, using the snowball sampling method and the
target community of experts, academic specialists and stakeholders of this industry,
the necessary correlations and metrics were extracted to help The effect of using e commerce on economic development should be investigated.
According to the obtained results, it can be stated that nowadays e-commerce
plays an important role in the trade of countries. Therefore, it is necessary to increase
investment in information and communication technology in Iran in order to achieve
the goal of increasing non-oil exports faster.
In practice, the policy message of the results of this research emphasizes the
development of the Internet and the information and communication technology
sector, and the optimization of the use of the Internet on economic sectors, especially
the export sector. Also, the government, as a leader, can provide its services
electronically in order to encourage and persuade different sectors
