Abstract:
Today, it is possible to encounter internet usage everywhere in our lives. We meet all
our needs over the internet, from bilateral communication to intercontinental
information sharing. The concept called Internet of Things (IOT), which is the
Internet of Things, is the name given to the situation where smart devices and
machines are connected with each other or with systems and communicate with each
other. With the Internet of Things, it is possible for us to monitor all events in the
environment by using various sensors. These sensors can communicate wired or
wirelessly, depending on the area of use. With the integration of this system into
production lines in factories; In the environment, live tracking of lines can be made
with real-time data coming from sensors in machines and devices. These incoming
data are stored in cloud storage and recorded in one or more databases. These
recorded data can be used for real-time tracking of production lines as well as for big
data analysis. Big data analysis is the analysis of data collected in a database and
transforming it into a processable and meaningful form. By using the Internet of
Things in production lines, the data collected from the sensors are evaluated by
prepared algorithms. Thus, by minimizing human errors; It is aimed to increase the
life and productivity of production machines and to ensure continuity of production
by preventing unplanned and accidental stops. In this study, studies on the
integration of the Internet of Things to production lines in factories have been
examined and carried out. Studies and researches on database selection, sensors to be
used, data to be analyzed and preventive and predictive maintenance have been
conducted
