dc.description.abstract	Bu çalışmada sığ temellerde taşıma gücünün saptanmasında yaygın kullanımı olan Terzaghi zemin taşıma gücü bağıntısının geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, sığ temellerin taşıma gücünün belirlenmesinde kullanılan çeşitli taşıma gücü bağıntıları ve değişkenleri için geniş örneklemeler yapılarak, Terzaghi zemin taşıma gücü bağıntısına dayanan yeni bir bağıntı türetilmiştir. Yedi bölümden oluşan tez çalışmasının birinci bölümünde literatür özeti sunularak, tezin amacı ve hipotezi açıklanmıştır. İkinci bölümde analitik zemin taşıma gücünün saptanmasında kullanılan zemin dayanım parametreleri belirlenerek, üçüncü bölümde literatürde yaygın kullanılan çeşitli taşıma gücü bağıntıları tanıtılmış ve dördüncü bölümde ise analitik zemin taşıma gücünü etkileyecek faktörler açıklanmıştır. Tezin beşinci bölümünde kalıp olarak Terzaghi tarafından önerilen bağıntı muhafaza edilmiş ancak sentetik olarak karakteristikleri belirlenen zemin örnekleri gözönünde bulundurularak Terzaghi kalıbında yer alan katsayılar doğrusal olmayan regresyon analiz yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiş ve bu değerlendirme sonucunda Terzaghinin bağıntısını temel teşkil eden yeni katsayılara sahip bir bağıntı önerilmiştir. Altıncı bölümde önerilen bağıntının diğer analitik taşıma gücü bağıntıları ve deneysel taşıma gücü değerleri ile karşılaştırılmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Son bölümde ise bu çalışma kapsamında ulaşılan sonuçlar vurgulanmıştır.	tr_TR

dc.description.abstractol	The aim of this study is the improvement of Terzaghi bearing capacity formula which is very common method to determine the bearing capacity in shallow foundations. For this purpose, many sampling has been done in very wide range for several formulas and variances that use to determine the bearing capacity in shallow foundations and a new formula is derived based on the Terzaghi bearing capacity formula with modification cofficionts. The summary of the literatures, the aim of the thesis and hypothesis are explained in the first chapter of the thesis. The strength parameters of soils are defined in second chapter used for the determination of analytical bearing capacity. Various bearing capacity formulas are given in third chapter that use very common in literature. Following, the factors that affect the analytical bearing capacity are specified in fourth chapter. In the fifth chapter of the thesis, the main formula that is recommended by Terzaghi keep as template however, the coefficients in Terzaghi template are evaluated with non-linear regression analysis method based on the soil samples that characteristic’s determined in synthetic way. As a result of this evaluation, new formula is developed with new coefficients that are referred to Terzaghi template. The proposed formula is compared with other analytical bearing capacity and experimental bearing capacity values in the sixth chapter. In the last chapter, the conclusions of the study are emphasized.	tr_TR
