dc.description.abstract	Eğitim yönetimi ve denetimi alanı ülkemizde son yıllarda oldukça artan bir ilgi görmektedir. Bu ilgi ile birlikte alanda çok sayıda yüksek lisans programı açılmış ve yapılan yüksek lisans çalışmalarında ciddi bir artış meydana gelmiştir. Bu artıştan eğitim yönetimi ve denetimi alanında liderlik çalışmaları da nasibini almıştır. Liderlik konulu çalışmalar hatırı sayılır bir noktaya ulaşmıştır. Bu çalışma bu liderlik araştırmaları ile ilgilenmektedir. Bu araştırma eğitim yönetimi ve denetimi alanında yapılmış yüksek lisans tez çalışmalarının liderlik tematiği açısından bir incelemesini sunmaktadır. Bu bağlamda bu çalışmaların metodolojik, ve teorik analizi yapılmaktadır. Ayrıca bu çalışmaların liderlik yönelimleri ve sonuçları ele alınmaktadır. Erişime açık 34 adet yüksek lisans tezini nicel olarak inceleyen bu çalışma betimleyici bir çalışmadır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, tezler genellikle dönüşümcü liderlik tipini incelemektedir. Tezler yüksek bir oranla (%88.2) hipotezlerini onaylayan sonuçlar bulmuşlardır. Bununla birlikte hiç bir çalışma eleştirel bir bakış açısı geliştirememişlerdir. Tezler çoğunlukla nicel araştırma modellerini kullanmışlardır. Tezlerin örneklem büyüklükleri yeterli olarak saptanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda alanın nitel araştırmalara ihtiyacı olduğu önerilmektedir. Eğitim sosyal ve kültürel bir alan olmasından hareketle sosyal ve kültürel metotlar ile yeni araştırmalara ihtiyaç vardır. Nitel araştırmalar alana dair bilgimizin derinliğini artırma ve alanın özerkliğini artırma potansiyeli taşımaktadırlar.	tr_TR

dc.description.abstractol	The interest to the field of educational administration and supervision has been on the rise recently. With the growing interest, new graduate programs have been opened and the number of Master’s thesis has been increasing rapidly. Leadership studies in the field also have increased. The number of these studies is now substantial. The present study concerns with these studies. This study presents an analysis of leadership studies in the field of educational administration and supervision. In this respect, the study makes a methodical and theoretical analysis of leadership studies. Moreover, the findings and leadership types of these studies are investigated. Overall 34 theses, which are open to free access, are described by using quantitative techniques. According the findings of the study, theses, of which none is critical, are generally concerned with the transformative leader type. The majority of theses (88.2%) had found results that confırmed their research hypotheses. Almost all of the investigated theses use quantitative research methods. It is also found that the sampling size is ideal. As a result of this study, it is recommended that the field is in the need of qualitative researches. Given that the field of education is primarily a cultural and social one, there is the need of new researches, which use cultural and social methods. Qualitative studies have the potential to deepen our understanding of and to contribute to the autonym of the field.	tr_TR
