dc.description.abstract	Bilişim teknolojilerinin kullanımının yaygınlaşması eğitim ve öğretim süreçleriyle de bütünleştirilmesini kaçınılmaz bir hale getirmektedir. Bu bilişim teknolojilerinden olan bloglar da etkileşimli içerikleri ve eğitime sağladıkları faydalar açısından potansiyel öğrenme ortamları olarak görülmektedir. Etkili bir öğrenme ve öğretme aracı olabilen blogların teknik bilgi gerekmeksizin oluşturulabilmeleri ve yapılan yorumlara anında cevap özelliğiyle sağladığı sosyal etkileşim imkanı eğitimde ders aracı olarak kullanımını gün geçtikçe arttırıcı bir etki yaratmaktadır. Bu çalışma, ders aracı olarak blog kullanımının öğrencinin motivasyonuna etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla ortaya konulmuştur. Bu amaç doğrultusunda da özel bir eğitim-öğretim kurumundaki ilköğretim ikinci kademe öğrencilerine blog kullanımının motivasyonlarına etkisini ölçücü bir anket uygulanmıştır. Araştırma beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde Türk eğitim sisteminin yapısı ve bu yapı içinde özel eğitim–öğretim kurumlarının yeri üzerinde durulurken ikinci bölümde, sosyal medya kavramı ile araçlarına değinilmiş yanı sıra sosyal medya araçlarının eğitimde kullanımı ile ilgili bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, blog kavramı, eğitimde blog kullanımı ile eğitimdeblog kullanımının sağladığı avantajlardan söz edilmiş ve bu konuda yapılmış olan araştırmalardan da blog kullanımının faydalarını açıklamak üzere yararlanılmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde ise, motivasyon kavramı, önemi ve motivasyon kuramları ile eğitimde motivasyonun öneminden bahsedilmiş ek olarak blog kullanımı ile motivasyonun ilişkisini açıklayan araştırmalara yer verilmiştir. Son bölümde de, özel bir eğitim-öğretim kurumundaki öğrencilere uygulanan anket sonucu elde edilen verilerin yorumlanması amaçlanmıştır.	tr_TR

dc.description.abstractol	The widespread use of information technologies make the integration inevitable between information technologies and the teaching and learning processes. Blogs, which are from these information technologies, are seen as potential learning environments in terms of interactive content and the benefits they might provide for education. Blogs have been shown to be effective learning and teaching tools which can be developed without any required technical knowledge or expertise. Such blogs provide the possibility of social interaction with the capability for instant response to any comments that are made. This element creates an enhancing effect that might be used daily as an effective tool for teaching in education. This study is conducted for the purpose of determining the effect of using blogs as a tool on the motivation of students. For this purpose, a survey is initiated using second year students in private primary school to evaluate the effect of using blogs and the blog's impact on student motivation. The research consists of five parts. In the first section, the structure of the Turkish educational system and the importance of private education and training institutions are analyzed. In the second part, the concept of social media and social media tools are addressed, as well as information related tothe use of social media tools in education. In the third part, the concept of the blog, using blogs in education, and the advantage of using blogs in education are analyzed. Information garnered through benefit of research in this subject draws a correlation to success and the use of blogs. In the fourth part, it was mentioned about the concept of motivation the importance of motivation, motivation theories and the importance of motivation in education. Additionally it was also mentioned about the researches explaining the relationship between the motivation and using blog in the education. In the last section, the goal is to interpret the results of the applied survey data as it relates to students in private education and training institutions.	tr_TR
